 SUV Digital Recorder

Introducing the new Elmo SUV head cam system. Elmo are renowned for there digital camera technology and this is their fantastic new product.

The Elmo SUV camera is an all-in-one head cam system including digital camera and digital mpeg4 recorder. No analog signals here so there is no quality lost in analog to digital conversion.

Based on a windows CE operating system, it really is easy to use and has some great functions.

The video can be viewed on it's own 2.2" High resolution LCD screen or you can plug the recorder in to any TV with the supplied cables.

A USB cable is also supplied so you can watch your videos back on your PC or MAC. With a good record resolution and high 4mb/s bit rate the video quality from the elmo SUV camera is on par with the PVR500r digital recorder.

The SUV recorder is supplied with it's own camera. It cannot be used with any other camera.

SUV Camera

The camera part is fully IPX8 waterproof so it's great for water sports and all weather events.

Boasting a 440,000 pixel digital CCD for excellent definition and colour reproduction. Fitted with a 3.8mm lens which gives a good wide angled view.

Extra lenses are also available for getting closer to your subject but for head mounted stuff we recommend the factory fitted lens.

Recording and viewing your video is done by the touch of a large button making it easy to operate even whilst wearing gloves.

The supplied Li-ion battery will give you about 2.5 hours record time. You can put up to 2gb SD card that will hold about an hour of full quality footage.

The video can be imported straight in to windows movie maker or just about any other video editing software for easy instant editing.

Small and Lightweight - The Elmo SUV recorder is as compact as a mobile phone (W 56mm x H 102mm x D 30mm) and weighs 130g with the battery.
The camera body is as small as a lipstick (20mm diameter by 84.8mm length) which is waterproof to 40m (IPX8).
The tough stainless steel SUV camera head resists forces of up to 930kgf.

Quick Viewing - The SUV camera has a 2.2inch TFT high res display. Select a file to play, press one button to play the recorded file.
With frame-by-frame playback, you'll never miss the exact moment you want to see and the bookmark function makes it easy to find your best scenes.

Quick and easy recording – Put the SUV recorder on standby with the push of one button, then start recording with one more push. You can easily use the SUV-Cam when you are wearing gloves. A Hold feature is provided to prevent interruption of recording by accidental movement during extreme filming.

SD Card - The SD card recording media protects your video from loss in body-worn or high activity usage. Quick playback is achieved by simply inserting the card into a PC or card reader. The recorded video can be played on the video software of your choice; Windows Media Player, Real player, Quicktime etc. without the requirement for dedicated software. You can record video for longer periods through intermittent recording, the audio is recorded (if selected) during the intermittent recording mode.

AV Output/Earphone Terminal – An A/V cable is supplied for connecting to a TV or monitor. You can connect the Elmo SUV recorder to a DVD recorder for easy transfer to DVD.

External Microphone Input – As well as the built-in mic, the recorder has an microphone input. The SUV external microphone is now available.
